The Mills Institute
Student Opportunities

The Mills Institute was formed in 2022 when Mills College merged with Northeastern in order to honor and advance Mills’ legacy of racial and gender equity. Based on the Oakland campus, the Institute offers programs for students in the Northeastern global network that challenge systemic inequality and facilitate the full inclusion of women, gender non-binary individuals, and BIPOC and other historically marginalized communities.
